Miss Chattanooga Volunteer Pageant Offers Scholarships and Empowerment for Young Women

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. | Miss Chattanooga Volunteer Pageant — The Miss Chattanooga Volunteer Pageant, proudly a part of the Miss Volunteer America Organization, invites the community to join in celebrating the remarkable talents, intelligence, and community service efforts of young women in our area. This prestigious scholarship program will take place on February 1st at The Colonnade theatre, showcasing local participants competing for the opportunity to represent Chattanooga at the state pageant while earning scholarships to further their education.
The Miss Chattanooga Volunteer Pageant is more than a competition—it’s a platform for empowering young women to develop leadership skills, serve their communities, and pursue their dreams. Contestants will compete in categories including a private interview with on stage talent, fitness, and evening wear.
“This program is a stepping stone for young women to make an impact in their communities and beyond, while providing educational opportunities that will shape their futures,” said executive director Ashley Rogers. “We are excited to bring this opportunity to young women and girls in our area and look forward to the ways each winner will serve our community during their reign.”
This will be the first time the Miss Volunteer America organization has had an official local preliminary pageant in Chattanooga.
On February 1st we will be crowning multiple titles including:
- Miss Chattanooga Volunteer (ages 18-26)
- Miss Chattanooga Teen Volunteer (ages 13-17, with talent competition)
- Miss Chattanooga Iris Teen Volunteer (ages 13-17, no talent competition)
- Little Miss Chattanooga Volunteer
- Miss Chattanooga Pre-Teen Volunteer
As a local preliminary to the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant, the winner of Miss Chattanooga Volunteer will win a $500 scholarship and go on to compete for the state title, joining contestants from across Tennessee in July of this year. The winner of Miss Tennessee Volunteer wins a $10,000 scholarship and becomes the state ambassador for character education through the governor’s office.
Community members are encouraged to attend the event to support the contestants and enjoy an evening of inspiration, entertainment, and local pride. Tickets are $15 or $10 with a student ID and available at the door.
