Miss Luxury Pageantry initiative expands national reach

The Miss Luxury Pageantry, a flagship initiative of the Miss Luxury Foundation and the corporate social responsibility arm of Capital Luxury Group, continues to gain momentum across the country, evolving into a powerful platform for women’s empowerment and social transformation.

Following earlier endorsements from Benue and Nasarawa states, the initiative has recently secured great support from key stakeholders in Ebonyi, Abia, and Enugu states.

In Ebonyi State, the Miss Luxury delegation was warmly welcomed by first lady of the state, Chief (Mrl Mary-Maudline Ogbonna Nwifuru, Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Richard Idike, issued an official endorsement for the pageantry. A strategic partnership was also forged with the New Foundation, under the leadership of Dr. Kelechukwu Okezie, Chair of the Coalition of Civil Society of Nigeria, to deepen community engagement and youth empowerment initiatives.

Abia State mirrored this spirit of collaboration with a warm reception from the First Lady and a strong endorsement from the Commissioner for Women Affairs. Engagements with local NGOs and community leaders have begun, setting the stage for grassroots activation that aligns with the pageantry’s commitment to fostering gender equality and amplifying the voices of young women.

In Enugu State, the foundation met with government officials including the Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Adaora Chukwu, who conveyed full support from the Governor and first ady, Her Excellency Mrs. Nkechi Mbah.

The visit also yielded a promising partnership with the African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA), led by Barrister Gozie C. Udemezue. This collaboration is set to provide mentorship opportunities and sponsorship for the upcoming Miss Luxury Pageantry 2025, further strengthening the platform’s capacity to empower women through legal advocacy and community support.

Speaking on the expanding network of state partnerships, Eze Okocha Eze, Publicity Lead for the Miss Luxury Foundation, said, “each endorsement is not just a formal agreement but a shared commitment to nurture and elevate the voices of young women across Nigeria. Our journey is about building bridges between communities, government, and civil society to create real, lasting impact.”

These state-level endorsements and partnerships underscore the Miss Luxury Foundation’s commitment to driving meaningful social impact beyond the pageant stage. The foundation’s work is grounded in building sustainable empowerment ecosystems for women and girls through education, advocacy, mentorship, and community development.

This growing network of support across diverse Nigerian states demonstrates a shared vision for advancing gender equity and nurturing the next generation of female leaders.

As the Miss Luxury Pageantry continues to attract attention and partnerships nationwide, it stands as a beacon for transformative change — one that harnesses the power of culture, community, and collaboration to uplift African women and girls.

The foundation remains dedicated to working with government bodies, civil society organizations, and corporate partners to ensure that the movement extends far beyond the crown, creating lasting opportunities and inspiring a future where every woman can thrive.
